Andrew B. Buroker

Partner

Andrew Buroker concentrates his practice in commercial and real estate finance, real estate transactions, municipal government and environmental law. He chairs the firm's Real Estate and Environmental Practice Group and has significant experience in all aspects of commercial real estate.  He served as the Zionsville Town Attorney for 14 years. He has advised clients in public debt and equity offerings, complex real estate leasing and ownership transactions, and mergers and other corporate reorganizations. He has published articles and presented at numerous seminars on finance, closings, real estate conveyances, documentation drafting, title insurance, surveys, planning and zoning, development, annexation, and environmental issues.

Representative Experience

  • Represented the lead lender for 5 agency banks in the restructured lease financing for the Indianapolis Colts
  • Responsible for all legal aspects of the first municipal reorganization and merger in Indiana under new State law 
  • Represented the owner in a recapitalization and investment of a calcium fortified water supplier for consumer market retail sales
  • Represented numerous financial institutions in the development of retail outlet bank branch sites
  • Lead counsel in largest annexation remonstrance in Indiana of over $1.3 billion assessed tax value geographic area
