Rebecca Biller
Rebecca Biller is a member of the firm's Employment Law, Litigation and Health Care Practice Groups, and chair of the Electronic Discovery and Data Management Service Group. Her practice is devoted to a wide range of commercial litigation, employment and health care matters. Ms. Biller routinely represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and federal courts defending against claims of unlawful discrimination. She also regularly assists clients with reviewing, revising, and drafting policies and procedures regarding employment, data management and document retention, and electronic discovery. She advises clients on electronic discovery implications relating to “cloud computing” agreements. She assists in drafting, reviewing and analyzing physician employment agreements and routinely advises those completing their medical residencies as to employment and non-compete issues they may encounter. Ms. Biller also routinely advises public school administrators across the state of Indiana on contractual issues related to administrators' employment. During her tenure at Krieg DeVault, Ms. Biller has assisted the Recruiting Committee, conducted interviews at the Indianapolis Bar Association Diversity Job Fair and the Cook County Minority Law Student Job Fair, and served as a co-chair of a subcommittee for the inaugural Diversity in Practice Conference held in September 2007.

- Successfully defended Credit Union before Indiana Civil Rights Commission against ADA complaint by employee suffering from Multiple Sclerosis
- Reviewed and revised numerous employee handbooks in the financial institutions area
- Managed document retention and discovery responses for family of multi-million dollar trade secret misappropriation actions filed in federal court
- Successfully defended summary judgment in state court against plaintiff claiming retaliatory discharge
- Successful defense of claims under all laws protecting against discrimination
- Negotiation of Confidential Settlement Agreements
- Successfully defended claim of retaliatory discharge in state court which was affirmed on appeal
